Government Grant Scam
These foreign scammers are known for injecting virus into victim’s computer and completely damaging it. They will then offer to clean it, for a large Fee.
Even after the payment of Fees, users have found to their horror, that nothing has been done to remove the infections.
The error that we make when we receive such a call, is in presuming that the call is arriving from within the US and hence could probably be legit.
Don’t carried away by the local number displayed. Scammers from Asia who run call centers spoof the phone number using software, to make it appear local.
