Scam Phone Number 8665014750, CAM Processing Miami Florida that I owed Dell $480. FRAUD. Fake claim.
They have been calling me for MONTHS. I finally took the call. They claimed I worked for Dell in 2012 -- I have never worked for Dell -- and that I owed Dell $480 for a "loan" Dell put into a checking account with numbers I didn't recognize. They had my home address & the last 4 digits of my social. I asked where they were located; they said Miami. I asked to speak with a manager & they hung up on me.
R Hat Reported: CAM Processing same scenario but they knew my s.s. # I didn't offer it....then they sent me an e-mail which they said was the contract I had signed for a short term loan (which I knew I hadn't) so before I opened it, I looked this name up....& it is a scam...I'll delete it now!
Thanks
L Walker Reported: 5679530131 CAM Processing trying to collect a debt for The Seventh Group, LLC. These folks called me using my facebook fake name. They had the correct last four digits. They were trying to collect a debt for The Seventh Group, LLC. I have never heard of them. But when I looked them up they are no active(7th Group). They asked for $500. They originally represented themselves as insurance people for an insurance claim to my son.

When someone demands payment of old debt (may be real or unreal) you should check your credit report to see whether it's actually on it, or not.
If the credit report does not state the debt at all, there is no need for you to pay even if you are convinced the debt is real, unless you are in a mood to pay it off!
There are thousands of illegal payday loan lenders who are not licensed to lend. Since they are not licensed they can't register themselves with credit rating agencies and hence can not report loan defaults.
They may try to recover the debt illegally. They may threaten to sue, but they cannot and will not, since they are illegal in the first place and hence can not approach courts!
If you want to know whether a lender is licensed to do business in your state, verify the information with your state banking regulator ( www. consumerfinance.gov/askcfpb/1637/how-do-i-find-my-states-bank-regulator.html ) or attorney general ( www . naag.org/current-attorneys-general.php )
