Scam Phone Number 8552017817, Fake Travelocity phone call. Bogus alert about itinerary change.
The automated message of a woman with Indian type accent says there is an itinerary change and I need to call Travelocity at 855-201-7817. The interesting thing is that I had booked and cancelled the tickets 2 days ago! This seem quite like a scam. How are these people able to get phone numbers?

The phone call is fake. It's a scam to get you to share your Travelocity login credentials! The calls are not made specifically to people who transacted on Travelocity website, recently! The call is placed on hundreds of numbers. Most people would ignore it since they would not have booked a flight recently on Travelocity. It's the rest that are the potential targets of the scammer. If someone did book a flight recently, there is a good probability that he would presume that the call is indeed from Travelocity and would get scammed!
