Scam Phone Number 8448403917, UBS Litigation told me I had a payday loan out in 2012 .
This company is full of it. They told me I had a payday loan out in 2012 from a RIVERSIDE PAYDAY loan. I Lived in San Jose California which is about 4.5 hours away. They said some bogus amount of 1500 and said they'd settle for 800. When I asked for a website for the attorneys and for their call center they could not provide one. She then stated she needed to deliver papers to serve me a court order. As we all know a court order for a court summon comes with a Case number correct? well apparently my case number is the last 4 of my social which is also false because case numbers are not last 4's of socials. So this is a busted bullshit hoax ladies and gentleman. do not fall for it and make sure to ask all the right questions. IE case number, attorneys website, contact information etc etc.

Fake Alert Message
When someone demands payment of old debt (may be real or unreal) you should check your credit report to see whether it's actually on it, or not.
If the credit report does not state the debt at all, there is no need for you to pay even if you are convinced the debt is real, unless you are in a mood to pay it off!
There are thousands of illegal payday loan lenders who are not licensed to lend. Since they are not licensed they can't register themselves with credit rating agencies and hence can not report loan defaults.
They may try to recover the debt illegally. They may threaten to sue, but they cannot and will not, since they are illegal in the first place and hence can not approach courts!
If you want to know whether a lender is licensed to do business in your state, verify the information with your state banking regulator ( www. consumerfinance.gov/askcfpb/1637/how-do-i-find-my-states-bank-regulator.html ) or attorney general ( www . naag.org/current-attorneys-general.php )
