Scam Phone Number 8442390965, Cardinal Services - fake claim number and fake debt notice.
Call is an automated message referring to a fake claim number and debt notice. Option to press 1 to connect to a "representative" who then hangs up on you when questioned. When I returned the call, it took me to a voicemail box for "Cardinal Services".

Fund Transfer Scam
This is a scam! "Cardinal Services" does not exist except as a bunch of crooks.
The crooks use VOIP to conceal their location & identity and the number is spoofed to appear like a local number. The callers may have certain basic information from customer database of lenders or scam websites offering payday loans, who would have sold such data to rogue companies
Using the data available, the callers pretend to be debt collectors and proceed to use threats, lies, and abusive tactics to extort money which the victim do not owe at all or if owed, is time barred. And time barred debt cannot be recovered through court process.
So the threats by these scam callers are absolutely empty sound bites and are mere scare tactics!
