Scam Phone Number 8157994160, Alan Martin ez loan usa - approved for $5000. Indians stole $95 .
he called me told me I was approved for a 5000 dollar loan with the pay back at $95 for the next five years he said I needed to send him 95 dollar money order because my credit was low. I did and then he turned around and asked me for $251 because my credit was still too low for them to deposit the money in my account.
after asking for a refund they told me to call the Financial Crime Stoppers in New York
I had my friend trace their call and their IP address to find out that they were in India all bad. And like a crazy person I believed him but like they say money root to all evil

Fake Buyer
It was indeed callous on your part to go ahead and send money to someone who called you over phone and offered loan!
A legitimate lender will NEVER ask to pay money in personal names by cash cards or Western Union / Money Gram. A payment for a loan has to go to the account of the company. Payment using WU, Money Gram or reloadable cash cards would not get credited to company account! These are cash payments which would be picked up by the person who contacted you and he would naturally disappear or may make you pay more having found that you are “pliable”!
In future, you should verify whether the company offering loan is legit and an approved lender. And whether the payment you are supposed to make directly reaches the account of the company.
To check whether the company offering a payday loan is registered and licensed to lend, visit the website of CFA (Consumer Federation of America) at www.paydayloaninfo.org/state-information
Select respective State. In the State’s page, click on “Licensee Database’ and search for the company by its name.
For example, select California and search for “Moneytree”. You will find that this company is registered to lend and all branches in California are listed with license numbers.
File complaint with FTC, IC3 and with the local Police department.
