Scam Phone Number 8004419305, Provisional Risk Services calls my work, parents and even sister! SCAM.
Started receiving voicemails about serious allegations that would require them to find my at my place of work or home. Then my parents started receiving several calls a day. One time the caller threatened to arrest my father if he did not send them money. The calls were so frightening to them so they changed their phone number. That was a few months ago. Now it's starting over again. Sister and old roommate received terrifying messages today with warnings. Don't know what to do! #800-441-9305

Fake Investment
Calling friends, relatives or place of work about someone’s debt and sharing information with them is illegal and ONLY scammers who want to extort money would do that. No legally registered, legitimate company, will ever do that!
Inform friends, family, and employers a scammer has gotten a hold of your information and not to fall for it and simply hang up.
The intention of these crooks is in fact to demean and humiliate victims, with the expectation that they would pay up, unable to cop up with the pressure, though they do not owe money to the scammers.
Never pay anything unless, the debt collector sends you Notice of Debt (1692G notice under FDCPA) within 5 days of your request. You will have 30 days to dispute (YOU SHOULD) and only after this the matter can go to court. Also, if you had any unpaid debt + interest, check whether you are protected by “Statute of Limitations”
If a debt collector does not send a validation notice, how do we know he is legit and has the right to collect? He could very well be a crook!. Usually crooks call to threaten using fake names of payday loan companies and law firms. Why should you pay off someone who may have nothing to do with the debt?!
If the caller does not identify himself by sending Notice but continues to harass, contact the Police immediately so that he can be traced, caught and sent to jail ! File complaint with FTC as well as the State Attorney General’s Office
File Complaint with FTC about the scam call: www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/
