Scam Phone Number 7342560614, Division of pre trials processing for the state of Michigan..
Caller (734-256-0614) claims to be from the "division of pre-trials processing for the state of Michigan." He had to leave 3 messages because he couldn't read the script properly the first two times. The same clown called my cell phone as well. Called states has received an order for two allegations to be filed against me immediately with the Macomb County Clerk's office. He threatens to pursue me at my place of employment and residence.
I am to call back and reference the case number. He further explains that I have the right to settle the case outside of court with the plaintiff but once I've been contacted I lose that right. He concludes with, "You've been officially notified!" via a voice mail. THAT seems official.
I called back and requested a mailing address to I could have my attorney send a cease and desist letter and stop them from calling. They refused to give an address without me giving the last 4 of my soc, which I obviously refused to provide. I asked they stop calling me. I do not own anyone anything.
This is a scam!
They have also called from 734-530-1810 and have used automated calls from 319-284-1321.

Fake Alert Message
The words “Pre trial intervention” is being used by scammers only to instill fear and make people believe that there is a way out!. “Pre Trial Intervention” or “Pre Trial Processing”, relates to only first time CRIMINAL offenses and can commence only after a person is arrested but before the criminal trial.
(It entails providing a a second chance through rehabilitative services when those efforts can potentially deter future criminal behavior. Participants are required to perform community service and to participate in individual and group counseling. This has NOTHING to do with a civil offense like non payment of bills or a debt!)
Obviously, the call received by you is a scam since “Pre trial intervention” has no relevance in civil cases like debt.
The best way to stop these calls is to be aggressive and tell the caller you are aware of the scam and the call has already been reported to the police and all of their calls are being taped. Be strong. Raise your voice.
These crooks need people who get easily scared so that they can be forced to pay. They will not pursue and waste time with people who are smart.

A telephonic demand to pay, without supporting paperwork, has no legal validity.
You should refute all charges leveled against you and also ask them to send Debt Validation notice with every detail that is required to be furnished, under the Federal Debt Collection Practices Act including but not limited to the amount owed, calculation for amount owed, proof that you agreed to pay amount owed, identity of original lender, proof that the Statute of Limitations has not expired, license number of the debt collector and proof that the debt collector is licensed to collect in your state.
Ask them to send the Debt Validation notice by post (not email) in accordance with the FDCPA.
Don’t give them any information including your address, your place of work etc. Do not admit or make any promise to pay. (If the caller is a genuine debt collector he will record the call and use the info against you)
Even a genuine debt collector may not have intimate details of the debt, usually just a final figure. SO it’s usually impossible for them qualify the debt as real and hence can not collect since they can not prepare paperwork to approach court! Don’t aid a debt collector by divulging your personal information which he will be after.
A debt collector can’t threaten you with criminal charges. That’s a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. If anyone threatens, you can presume that he is a scammer.
You can be 100% assured that you will never receive a legally valid Debt Validation Notice from them, since the callers are scammers who have nothing to do with your loan, if you had one!
