Scam Phone Number 7174441044, SMS ID "80120585@verizon.net". I immediately recognized it as fraud .
Got a text with caller ID that read "80120585@verizon.net," then the text message read "(Contact-[USDirectExpress]- Call (717) 444-1044)"
I did call the number, because at first I thought it came from Verizon. But I immediately recognized it as fraud when it said my Mastercard was discontinued (I don't have one), and then it asked for "verification info," the first of which was my social security number. I immediately hung up and tried to notify Verizon, but couldn't locate an email address where I could forward it.

Fake Alert Message
The text message received by you is indeed a scam. Similar messages are sent to thousands of phone numbers.
The automated system will ask the victim to key-in, card number, name, date of birth and even the security code! And at the end of it, it will declare that your card is reactivated!
We should call our banks only at it’s official phone number which would be at the back of the bank card. Scammers call and send text messages pretending to be a Bank and will either direct victims to a phishing site or would try to extract account info over the phone.
