Scam Phone Number 6508638226, Claiming to be Expedia. Need to have a Credit Card. Won $2600.

This is an automated message saying you have won 2,600 $$ from Expedia. They say you need to have a CC to book the resort. It's a very robotic automated voice, and a known scam since I looked it up. I just hung up, and didn't press any of the options. Just flagging this.

Scammers try to take advantage of the trust consumers repose in large companies by posing as one! This why they make scam offers, with opening sentences like "because you are a special customer of Expedia". Usually, these offers are either a trap to steal personal / financial information or to sell worthless timeshare or vacation club memberships.

The scammers offer freebies only to lure people into attending a sales presentation.
