Holiday / Vacation Scam
The objective of the scammers is to make people visit the website (www. Myteleforex.com) which has no content other than ads.
MYTELEFOREX.COM is a SCAM website. There is no news or pictures about you or your family there. The message is a simple trick to make you visit that site. When you click the links (to check whether there is any “news or pictures”), the scammer gets advertising click money!
When you receive such messages, don’t presume that it’s intended for YOU and your family! It’s just a bulk message send to thousands of people. The scammers use stolen telephone database to send messages in bulk, using computer software.
To make the Philippines Department of Justice act against the fake SMS scammers, and spurious websites, forward your complaint along with a link to this page to: communications@doj.gov.ph
