Scam Phone Number 5717896853, Never got caller name. he had my son's name. Said my son is kidnapped.
Got a call that when I picked up, sobbing person on the other side claimed to be my son. Then a man came on claiming they had my son and would not release him or let me off the phone till I made arrangements for $4000 to be sent to them. When I said I didn't have it, man said his "boss" was going to kill my son. Got to the point where I was ready to agree to $1k, when my husband got my son on the other line and confirmed he was okay, and that the call was a scam. I hung up on the scammer after telling him my alive, well, and healthy son was talking to me on the other line , and that he was scamming me. Have blocked the phone number, and reported to the police, who can do nothing, they said, but am also reporting it here for anyone else they might be victimizing.
