Scam Phone Number 5715278539, Fake IRS Call! Stay online and make arrangements to wire $2500.

My grown (27) son just had a call on his cell phone from the "IRS". They told him he had to stay on the line and make arrangements to wire $2500 of the $7800 he "owed" and that he only had a few minutes or the arrest warrant they had would be executed.

Luckily he kinda figured it was a scam, but he was visibly shaken. I called the number that was calling him and the man who answered was belligerent and acknowledged what he was doing was illegal but he said "so what?"

I reported to IRS through their form system but wanted to see if y'all were interested in chasing them down. My son gave them no information that could hurt him, fortunately, but I worry over others who are not as skeptical. The number was 571-527-8539

It comes up as Alexandria, VA...and he is adamant that he is with IRS yet will not give his name or badge...and we know IRS won't call anyway...They were definitely Indian or Pakastani
