Telemarketing Call
The messages declaring that you have won a cruise or a vacation, is a well planned scam. Scam artists set up computer system to spew out thousands of messages expecting potential victims to respond. They are lured with free cruise offers and asked to attend a presentation, at which they are told, the vouchers would be handed out.
Only couples having “major” credit cards are allowed in! The presentation will soon turn out to be for an overpriced timeshare or vacation club. The victims are psychologically pressured to sign up and their cards are charged, instantly! Avoid responding to unsolicited txt messages and phone calls, offering freebees
