It was an automated call asking to press 1 to claim the offer!

The scammer is looking to get credit card info “for verification” ; steal address and other info for “the purpose of shipping” and then screw you up!

Hi Alecia ... the call is a honey trap to get a few naive people into sharing their credit card and other info.
It has been reported the "Free Medical Alert System" do not come free at all. Its delivered and then the user is put on a monthly subscription without his knowledge. Many users become aware of the fraud only after several months by which time hundreds of dollars is stolen from bank.
Trapped users have no option other than to cancel the Credit Card to stop the bogus charges.
