Fake Buyer
Never part with any personal info when unknown people call. Scammers collect bits and pieces of info and would later call back, to carry out confidence tricks.
For example, if you have revealed that you had (for example) a bladder surgery, another scammer will call you after few weeks informing that there is a medical compensation of $2500 waiting to be claimed on account of the bladder surgery you had undergone. You wouldn’t connect this call to the previous one, since the caller could claim to be from the “Federal Medical Compensation Department” or something similar!
Victims would end up sending money to the scammer (Advance Fees) not the other way round!
There are call centers which connect women who have had health problems caused after transvaginal mesh and bladder sling surgery, to lawyers. However those making cold calls and being evasive about their company and it’s location, are scammers and should not be dealt with firmly.
