Scam Phone Number 3085550118, Legal affairs at the Us treasury dept. tax fraud against your name.
I received a phone call from 308-555-0118. It was a computer generated female voice with a british accent stating This is (Officer Susan???) and I am calling you from the legal affairs at the us treasury dept my batch # is 4165.
The nature and the purpose of this call is regarding is an enforcement action which has been executed by the us treasury dept regarding a tax fraud against your name. Ignoring this will be an intentional attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate, judge, or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. (Settle ???) before this claim goes to federal claims court, (???) or before you get arrested.
Kindly call us back on our number as soon as possible. The number to reach us is 240-232-2197. I repeat 240-232-2197. Thank you and have a nice day

The IRS will first contact you by mail, not by phone.
The IRS won’t threaten arrest, deportation, wage garnishment or loss of a driver’s license.
The IRS won’t ask you to share credit card information over the phone nor ask you to pay right away
