They said it was from Treasure Department Washington DC gave me this number to confirm 240-284-3483 and a confirmation #.
They said I was given money for Loyalty $8,400.00 and ask question about what I would do with the money. After that they start question about my address, age etc. I hung out

Scam artists from within and abroad are targeting citizens with phone calls offering bogus Government Grant ranging from $6000 to $10000. The scammers assure the potential victim that this would not cost him / her anything and that the grant money never had to be paid back. To convince the victim, the scam artists informs: "You were selected because you pay your bills and taxes on time and don't have a criminal background" The victims are asked to call back with a reference # and that's when they are told of get a Greendot Moneypak card worth $150 or more and the Grant will be transferred within 24 hours!
