Scam Phone Number 2192077337, Claims to be Lake County Sherriff says you missed jury duty .
Caller claims to be a Lake County Sherriff and says you missed jury duty and are being fined. Tells you to purchase PayPal cards for almost $500.00 and to head to the courthouse and leave your cell phone on. He will call you and tell you where to meet. If you're dumb enough to fall for this, he'll probably rob you of the paypal cards at gun point.

The caller would state that a warrant has been issued for your arrest because you failed to show up for jury duty and that you could avoid jail by paying a fine. The objective is to intimidate potential victims into paying money, by falsely claiming that a payment of fine can stall the arrest warrant!
The scammer also would try to steal SS# and Date of Birth apart from other data by asking victims to “verify”!
The police will not call residents about jury duty or ask anyone to obtain a prepaid card to pay a fine to avoid arrest.
