Scam Phone Number 2157340224, Steve Modern or Steve Martin - enforcement action by US treasury?.

Vas a voicemail received on Friday 12, from 215-734-0224
The voice message says something like enforcement action by US treasury.... I call them back and they say can help me not to go to jail for 6 months and the treasury will froze my accounts . They can help if I pay back the taxes owe on 2010 for $3,466.78...
Left me really nervous....

Steve Reported: Caller said "Federal criminal offense" & wanted me to call him back

Hi Felicita, the voicemail is handiwork of scammers from Asia. The awful grammar gives it away. The scammers fraudulently use names of well known legal firms and throw around names of payday loan companies. Out of thousands of calls made at the same time, the scammers expect a few people to be alarmed enough, to respond. The victims are then terrorized into paying money, by threatening arrest, jail term, wage garnishment and in the case of immigrants, deportation.

We should publish details of such voicemail threats, to help spread information about the scam and save others from being victimized.
