Scam Phone Number 2066817879, Government grant scam call. They want me to call to collect the Grant.
They were calling from a 202 area code and I blocked it and now they are calling from this number. I am on do not call list and asked them everyday to remove my number and not call back but they continue to call. This is a scam. Already reported it.

Service Providers Scam
The calls about release of Govt. Grants are 100% fraud. The departments of the Government do not make phone calls citizens to intimate them about benefits. The scam is usually operated from abroad with VOIP calls spoofing local numbers.
And callers generally would have a foreign accent. The scammers would offer to credit the grant money to your account, Provided certain ‘Fee’ is paid immediately (with pre loaded cash cards such as Green Dot Moneypak). The scammer may also steal personal and financial info asking to verify name, address, checking account number, SSN etc.
