Scam Phone Number 2025582390, United States Treasury second notice on grand jury attendance!.

They claim to be the United States Treasury when I called them back. However, their message is that they have given me a second notice on grand jury attendance.

The US Treasury or the IRS will never make, “out of the blue” calls, demanding payment. Payments will never be accepted by cash cards like Greendot Moneypak.

This scam thrives due to a large part of the American population being unaware, of how the legal process relating to inaccurate tax filings, work.

The IRS will first contact you by regular mail, not by phone.
The IRS won’t threaten arrest, deportation, wage garnishment or loss of a driver’s license.
The IRS won’t ask you to share credit card information over the phone nor ask you to pay right away
