Scam Phone Number 2025528660, Legal action if I or my lawyer do not call 2132983855 immediately.
Female robotic voice who states I must return this call or my lawyer of record must return the call. If I do no things will proceed and there is nothing she can do to help me. Gives a return phone number of 213-298-3855 (which is different than the 202 caller ID#). definitely a scam. I did not return the call.

Scammers use the phrase “You or your attorney should call back”, very often during the bogus debt collection and extortion calls.
The intent of the scammer is definitely NOT to get your attorney to call. The scammer knows that almost no one would have an attorney in place, to handle the situation arising out of the threatening telephone call he has just made. The idea is to make the call look legit and the threat seem real.
The victims would not want to engage an attorney straight away, because of costs and trouble involved and instead will call back themselves and could get trapped, if they are not smart enough to spot the scam.
The scammer will emotionally drain the victim scaring him or her to death who would then proceed to pay money, to get out of the non existent “trouble”.
What would happen if someone gets an attorney to call back?! If an attorney calls back, the scammer would play it safe, excuse himself and hang up!!
