Scam Phone Number 16185099539, Michael Davis (618) 509 9539 Robertson law. Arrest Warrant.
This jackass emailed me (from: robertson.law.office103@gmail.com) stating that there was a warrant for my arrest, he emailed me a copy of the warrant and a summons stating that I will be prosecuted in the US District Court in a few days because of a loan I took out. I am a recent law school & know for a fact that a warrant & summons has to be SERVED, the US Court will NOT email a warrant, especially from a gmail/outlook/Hotmail account! I have no idea who this cocksucker is trying to scam!
He won't get me! Folks, listen, this is a scam when someone emails a copy of a warrant or calls you stating that you will be prosecuted over a payday loan! If the government wants to serve you, they will serve you, not send harassing calls or harassing emails, DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM OR YOU WILL BE OUT OF A LOT OF MONEY!!!
Once you give our your personal information, there is NOTHING the government can do to compensate your losses, because most of these jackasses are calling from foreign countries! ******PASS THIS INFO ALONG, ESPECIALLY TO YOUR ELDERLY RELATIVES!!!

A legitimate law office will have it's own website with email server and hence will not use gmail, yahoo etc for sending official emails.
As you rightly pointed out, arrest warrants are never sent by email, fax or post! A valid arrest warrant is served in person by a U.S. Marshal or other law enforcement officer.
The scammers fraudulently use names of well known legal firms and throw around names of payday loan companies. In response to thousands of emails sent at the same time, the scammers expect reply to a few, from people who are alarmed enough, to respond. The victims are then terrorized into paying money, by threatening arrest, jail term, wage garnishment and in the case of immigrants, deportation.
