Caller said something about a crime against the US Treasury and we need to call so they can help us. Insinuating we would or have charges filed against us.

The call threatening action by the US treasury is a scam. It thrives on the fact that a large part of the American population is unaware, of how the legal process relating to inaccurate tax filings, work.
The US Treasury or the IRS will never make, “out of the blue” calls, demanding payment. Payments will never be accepted by cash cards like Greendot Moneypak.
