Scam Phone Number 12025582390, Fake US Treasury Call, second warning 1-202-558-2390.
On June 18, 2016, I received a call from the above number, obviously through a router from an indivdual calling from the India/Pakistan region. He identified himsef as a Federal Officer with the Dept of the Treasury, giving me an agent ID (federal ID) of 78262. He went so far as to communicate the threat "you wil care when we stick a 9mm up your ass."

The US Treasury or the IRS will never make, “out of the blue” calls, demanding payment. Payments will never be accepted by cash cards like Greendot Moneypak.
This scam thrives due to a large part of the American population being unaware, of how the legal process relating to inaccurate tax filings, work.
The IRS will first contact you by regular mail, not by phone.
The IRS won’t threaten arrest, deportation, wage garnishment or loss of a driver’s license.
The IRS won’t ask you to share credit card information over the phone nor ask you to pay right away
